The mission of the Airgun Sporting Association is to market, promote and serve individuals, companies and corporations involved in the manufacture, importation, wholesale and retail sales and distribution of airguns and related hunting and airgun sport shooting equipment, products, goods and services.
Our primary focus is advancing the airgun industry by expanding hunting regulations, working with state wildlife agencies to legalize big bore airguns for big game hunting. We support recreational shooter growth through programs like the Student Air Rifle Program (SAR), introducing new participants to airgun sports. Our efforts also include standardizing competitive airgun shooting, ensuring universal rules and scoring across events. Additionally, we advocate for industry standards and legislation, representing airgun interests in ASTM committees and working to shape state, federal, and international regulations.
